2020 Employee Make A Statement Challenge
20 Debits. 20 Credits. 1 Statement.
Throughout 2020, Quad City Bank & Trust is challenging all employees to focus on giving back (20 debits) and paying it forward (20 credits). Each team member will have a custom bank statement to track 20 hours of volunteer service and a random act of kindness. Why? Because we believe we can all play a small role in making a big difference in our community. Follow our progress and check out what our employees are up to on social media using #my2020statementqc!

Employee VolunCHEERS Spotlight
In 2019, QCBT employees spent over 11,940 hours volunteering in the Quad Cities - that's almost 500 days! That's why we're excited to feature stories of our staff giving back. Blake has been a volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Mississippi Valley for 9 years.
"I was matched with a 2nd grader in Davenport. I started in the program as a lunch buddy and would have lunch with him at his school twice a week where we would discuss things such as favorite candies and video games. I have enjoyed many different experiences with my “little” over the years and it’s been great to see him grow into a young adult. Now my “little” has grown as tall as me and is in high school. As a community based match, we do things like shoot baskets, drive golf balls and go to movies. It’s nice for me not to be his teacher or parent and have to discipline him, but just be someone who he can talk to and be a positive influence in his life. I originally got into the Big Brothers Big Sisters program when QCBT hosted a lunch and learn. I’m grateful that I work for a company that encourages community involvement and provides us the flexibility to choose which organizations are important to us. The last 3 years, I have also been on the committee for Over the Edge, a fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters in which people raise money for the organization for the opportunity to rappel off the Hotel Blackhawk. After helping the last few years from the ground, I will be taking the plunge this year. I would encourage anyone who might be interested in being a “Big” to have a discussion with someone already in the program. It has been a fulfilling and life changing experience for me." - Blake Schaeffer, Quad City Investment Center
Donation and Sponsorship Requests
Quad City Bank & Trust's commitment to our community has guided our organization in the past and will continue on as the strategy far into the future. It's who we are...People You Can Bank On®.
Every year, Quad City Bank & Trust is contacted by many worthwhile charitable organizations. While we prioritize donation requests from individuals and organizations with whom QCBT maintains a banking relationship, we make every effort to accommodate as many other sponsorship and donation requests as possible. Unfortunately, due to the large number of requests we receive, we are unable to fulfill all requests. Please note that each request is reviewed by QCBT on an individual basis and completing this form does not guarantee a sponsorship or donation.
To make a donation or sponsorships request, please complete the donation request form. Our Sponsorship/Donation Committee meets monthly. The deadline for a sponsorship request is 6 weeks prior to your event. We will contact you if your donation or sponsorship request is approved.
We wish your fundraising efforts the very best!
