What was your favorite part about the sabbatical experience? My sabbatical was nothing short of amazing and I enjoyed it every minute immensely. My favorite part of sabbatical was having the time to travel and explore. One of my favorite adventures was flying by seaplane to Dry Tortugas National Park and snorkeling around the park. Another favorite experience was hiking in the dark up to Overlook Canyon (Zion National Park) to watch the sunrise. So beautiful!

Do you think the sabbatical experience is an appealing benefit for QCBT/QCRH staff and potential employees? Absolutely!! Having the paid time off to go travel & explore allowed me to rejuvenate!

What advice would you have for someone getting ready to take a sabbatical? Take time to plan for your sabbatical so you spend the time doing something that brings you joy & helps you rejuvenate.

Do you have anything else you’d like to add regarding your sabbatical experience? I'm appreciative for the opportunity.
