Meet our 2024 summer interns!

Kiley Bailey Intern

Teller Intern
I’m Kiley, working as a summer teller here at QCBT! I’m 20 years old and I’ve lived in Rock Island with my family my entire life. I’m an incoming Junior studying English at Southern Illinois University with a focus on creative writing, and with a minor in Japanese language studies. In the future I hope to secure a career that can support my passion for language and writing, and I think that having experience in a professional and positive environment like QCBT is a great step toward that. A fun fact about me is that I’m a huge nerd: I love video games and reading, and every year I attend an anime convention in Washington DC which is a lot of fun! I’m already enjoying my time here immensely and I’m so excited to learn as much as I can here in my time at QCBT.

Human Resources Intern
I was born and raised in the Quad Cities, specifically Moline. Currently, I am a senior at Northern Illinois University, and I will be graduating in December. I am majoring in Business Management with an emphasis in Leadership and a minor in Marketing. Choosing QCRH was a natural fit for me; the company’s values resonated deeply with my own, and witnessing how they authentically embody these principles sealed the deal. I am so beyond excited to learn from such an incredible team this summer! Oh! And a fun fact about me, I love to travel and have been to seven countries and counting. Traveling is not just a hobby, but a passion that fuels my curiosity and broadens my perspective on the world.

I have joined QCBT this summer as a banking intern. I will be rotating between our commercial department, trust and wealth management, as well as investments. I am from Sherrard, Illinois and will be starting my junior year of college at Texas Chrisitan University where I major in Finance and Accounting. A fun fact about me is that I’ve been playing piano since I was 7.

Banking Intern
I am a Quad City native and graduated from Pleasant Valley High School. I will begin my Junior year at Texas Christian University this fall where I’m double-majoring in Finance and Business Management, with a minor in Accounting. I remain actively engaged both on campus and in the Fort Worth community, I’m a member of TCU’s Transaction & Investment Professional (TIP) Board, Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity, and am Communications Director for the TCU Student Alumni Foundation. I chose QCBT for my summer internship for a variety of reasons, primarily because QCBT provided me the perfect opportunity of being able to both pursue my desire to gain experience in the industry, while also allowing me to apply my formal education and add value to my internship partner throughout my internship experience. Additionally, having grown up in the QCA, QCBT is well-known for the importance they place on giving back to the community and this is a value that I, too, believe strongly in and knew this would be an organization I’d be proud to work for as a result.
