We’re excited to share that Quad City Bank & Trust (QCBT) is upgrading our banking system April 3-6, 2026, to better serve you and enhance your overall banking experience. There’s nothing you need to do at this time. We’ve taken care of everything to make sure this is a smooth transition.
As we are preparing for this important update, we’d like to inform you of some upcoming dates:
To help you feel prepared, the information below outlines key updates you can expect, including improvements to our systems and services. Please note that some services are changing; details of changes are included.
As part of our upgrade, customers will receive two statements for the month of April. One will be an interim statement with information from the first day of the current statement cycle through April 2, 2026. The other will be the information from April 3, 2026, through the normal statement date. Consumer checking account service charges will be waived for the month of April.
Person-to-Person Deposits Using Your Debit Card - The close of business for person-to-person deposits that are proceed on your QCBT debit card is changing to 2:00 p.m. Any deposits after the cutoff of 2:00 p.m. or on any day we are not open will be processed on the next business day.
Telephone Banking (iTalk) - Clients who call in to do telephone banking may receive a prompt to change their PIN. Please listen carefully to the menu options as they may be changing. Authentication will be needed to complete enrollment sequence. Clients must complete re-enrollment within 30 days. Please contact Client Care at 563.388.QCBT if completing re-enrollment after 30 days.
My Card Rules Debit Card Control - As part of the upgrade, the current card controls within online banking will be updated and will be unavailable beginning on March 30. Clients will be prompted to re-enroll their cards to enable preferred alerts and transaction controls.
Zelle - Zelle will be unavailable throughout the conversion period through April 6. A full re-enrollment in Zelle will be necessary at this time inclusive of payee set-up and recurring payments. We recommend recording that information from your existing Zelle setup prior to this period to aid in re-enrollment. Other changes to Zelle after April 6 include the following: split payments will no longer be available through Zelle. Standard transaction dollar limits of $2,000/day, $2,500/week and $10,000 total/month will apply. Transaction limits of 5/day, 25/week and 100/month will apply. If you have questions regarding these limits, please contact our Client Care team at 563.388.QCBT.

Statements - Our statements will have a new look beginning on April 6, 2026. Please download your statement prior to April 2, 2026, if you need access to your statement over the weekend of April 2 - 5.
Effect on Closing an Account – If you close your interest-bearing account before interest is credited, you will not receive the accrued interest for that statement cycle.
Important updates to our overdraft services program: As part of QCBT’s conversion, we are updating the way our current Courtesy Pay and Courtesy Pay Plus overdraft service program works, including internal overdraft coverage limits.
Courtesy Pay generally applies to checks, automatic bill payments/ACH payments, online Bill Pay transactions, and recurring debit card transactions.
Courtesy Pay Plus (for consumer accounts only) applies to ATM and everyday debit card transactions when you choose to opt-in to this service.
Courtesy Pay and Courtesy Pay Plus use internal criteria to determine the amount of overdraft coverage that may be available. Those internal limits are changing. As a result, you may notice a difference in how much your account may be overdrawn before items are declined.
If you are currently enrolled in Courtesy Pay, you will automatically remain enrolled when these changes take effect. No action is required to continue coverage. For consumer accounts only, Federal law requires your consent before we may charge overdraft fees for ATM and everyday debit card transactions. If you have previously provided consent to opt-in to Courtesy Pay Plus for ATM and everyday debit card transactions, that election will carry over unless you choose to change it. As a reminder, overdraft coverage is discretionary and not guaranteed which means QCBT may decline to pay an item.
Participation in Courtesy Pay and Courtesy Pay Plus is optional. If you do not wish to continue overdraft coverage under the updated program, you may unenroll or change your Regulation E election at any time by contacting us. Quad City Bank and Trust offers additional overdraft protection plans, such as a link to another QCBT deposit account (Courtesy Transfer) and Courtesy Line of Credit* overdraft protection, which may be less expensive than our standard practices.
*Must apply with a bank representative. Subject to credit approval.
We will use the Current Balance (also known as your end of day balance) of your account to determine whether your account is overdrawn, that is, whether you have enough funds in your account to pay transactions that are presented for payment. Your Current Balance does not include any pending transactions that have not settled against the account.
