What did you do during your sabbatical? Spent time with family, traveled to London and Paris, organized my closets, read a few books, relaxed
What was your biggest takeaway or most memorable moment during your sabbatical? It was great to plan extended time away from home- relax and enjoy the sights in London and Paris. Most memorable- the Eiffel Tower and my first real Parisian croissant!
How did your sabbatical impact your personal or professional growth? I loved connecting with the French culture and seeing firsthand many of the things I learned about in high school.
Did the sabbatical help you return to work feeling more refreshed and energized? Absolutely! Taking the time off to disconnect from the office helped me be ready to come back with more energy and focus!
Is there any advice you would give to someone that is preparing for a sabbatical? Plan one or two bigger things and let the rest unfold day to day.
