Quad City Bank & Trust Announces New Private Banking Leadership
Quad City Bank & Trust is proud to announce that Kevin Wellman, Vice President, Private Banking Officer, will oversee the bank’s private banking division, effective March 26. As one of the last remaining departments of its kind in the local area, QCBT remains focused on providing personalized and customized solutions to meet the needs of its clients.
Kevin brings over 28 years of financial and banking expertise with experience that spans retail, credit management, operations, lending and small business banking development. With such a wide breadth of knowledge of the industry and client needs, Kevin is especially skilled at tailoring specialized lending and money management services to meet individual financial needs. He is committed to building long-term relationships with customers that are centered on trust and unmatched customer service, keeping their family, business and lifestyle as the core focus. He holds a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa and has been with QCBT since 2009.
A Quad City native, Kevin demonstrates a strong commitment to strengthening his community that extends far beyond the bank walls. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Better Business Bureau Foundation of the Quad Cities and Davenport Country Club, and spends countless hours investing in our local students through Big Brothers Big Sisters and Junior Achievement. He is also an active volunteer with the United Way and John Deere Classic.
QCBT’s Private Banking department had previously been managed since 2008 by Laura “Divot” Ekizian, who transitioned to the role of President and Chief Relationship Officer in May of 2020. “Kevin is passionate about our Relationships Matter focus. I have seen it in the way he works with his clients and the way they benefit from his advice and hard work,” says Laura “Divot” Ekizian. “He is the perfect fit to continue to grow our private banking relationships and to lead this team to the next level.”
