John Nagle Promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Lending Officer
Quad City Bank & Trust (QCBT) is proud to announce that John Nagle will be promoted to the position of Senior Vice President, Chief Lending Officer. The transition will be effective July 4 following the well-deserved retirement of Jeff Lockwood, who has managed the commercial banking division for 15 years.
“After a life-long career dedicated to our clients and community, we knew Jeff’s announcement would leave big shoes to fill in this pivotal role,” shares John Anderson, CEO. “We are fortunate that the most qualified candidate was already a member of our bank family. John not only possesses the technical skills to drive our team forward, but he is also a shining example of what it means to live our brand day in and day out.”
A Quad City native, Nagle grew up in Davenport and has been a valued member of the QCBT commercial lending team for 22 years. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading his team to find the most efficient and customized solutions to meet the financial needs of Quad Cities area businesses.
“It is important to me that we continue what our bank founders started - a strong commitment to responsive customer service and building relationships,” says Nagle. “I am honored to lead a passionate team of commercial bankers who recognize that the success of our locally owned businesses makes our entire community a better place to live, work and play.”
Nagle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Iowa. An outstanding advocate for his community, he spends much of his free time serving with a wide variety of local organizations, including Hand in Hand, Davenport Kiwanis, Special Olympics, Junior Achievement, Café on Vine, Our Lady of Victory Church and the John Deere Classic.
