Employee Spotlight - Ty Lewis

Ty Lewis is a management trainee at Quad City Bank & Trust.  He joined QCBT in August 2020.  In his current role, he is gaining valuable exposure to all areas of the bank and getting a high-level overview of each area’s daily responsibilities to more robustly understand how the bank operates. 

As an African American and a role model in the community, Ty brings a sense of trust to the clients of Quad City Bank & Trust demonstrating the bank makes an impact to help diverse groups of people in our community.  Ty has previously had experience at QCBT as a Credit Intern and Management Trainee Intern.  Prior to starting his banking career, Ty was a manager at Chick-fil-A.  

He has also been very active in his college community having volunteered for Young Life, served as president of the finance club, vice president of the sales club, student government senator, treasurer of the Black student union, College of Business ambassador and participated in the marketing club. Additionally, Ty is a board member of the United Way of the Quad Cities and serves on the marketing committee of the Rock Island Milan Education Foundation.  Ty will be graduating from St. Ambrose University with a degree in Finance in May, 2022.
