Jay Johnson Preferred

Jay Johnson - Senior Vice President, Correspondent Banking (QCBT)

With 28 years of banking experience, Jay’s area of expertise lies within lending to community bank holding companies in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. As Senior Vice President Correspondent Banking, Jay underwrites, originates, and manages a portfolio of bank stock and commercial loan participations. He adds values to our clients by working with community banks to provide tailored credit solutions for growth, liquidity needs, and acquisition opportunities. Jay attended Eastern Kentucky University and received a degree in Business Administration. He has previously served on the board for the following organizations: Friendly House, Illinois Iowa Center for Independent Living, and the Community Bankers of Iowa, and currently serves on the North Scott Educational Foundation board.

Lynne Haines - Correspondent Banking Operations Manager, Officer (QCBT)

With 30 years of banking experience, Lynne’s area of expertise lies within working with over 200 Correspondent Banks and their employees daily. As Correspondent Banking Operations Officer, Lynne manages Correspondent Banking Department Staff, and oversees daily operations within the department. Lynne adds value to our clients by working well with a great staff and providing a high level of customer service to all of our correspondent banks and staff to help them run efficiently and effectively each day. Lynne attended Blackhawk College, completed AIB courses, and has attended numerous banking seminars. She volunteers at MVBA and the QC Animal Welfare Center.

Susan Shaffer - Vice President, BSA and Security Officer (QCBT)

With 27 years of banking experience, Susan’s area of expertise lies within Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Fraud and Security. She currently holds certifications with ACAMS (Certified Anti-money laundering specialist) and ICBA- CCBSO (Certified Community Bank Security Officer) as VP, BSA and Security Officer. Susan works with all departments to have a full understanding of BSA and its processes to comply with established QCRH BSA policies and procedures. She manages the Banks process for prevention and detection of external fraud and money laundering activities. Serving as the Security Officer for QCBT bank locations, she conducts Robbery training and promotes a safe working environment for employees, while ensuring compliance with the provisions of the regulations as established by the Federal Reserve Bank. Susan is part of a local Security Group who works with financial institutions and law enforcement to provide and/or promote training to detect and prevent fraud. She is a board member and on the personnel committee with the New Kingdom Trailriders.

Tyler Henry - Treasury Management Specialist (QCBT)

With almost 4 years of banking experience, Tyler’s area of expertise lies within Treasury Management Services, Cash Handling, and Customer Service. As a Treasury Management Specialist, Tyler assists with all Treasury Management Clients & Client Services that we offer such as ACH, Positive Pay, eChecks, Remote Deposit Capture, etc. He also assists with technical issues clients may be receiving on their end such as browser issues with our software, Remote Deposit Capture scanner installations and issues, and QuickBooks. Tyler adds value to our clients by taking each client request differently and trying to understand their issue by educating them more on the process and on what products the Treasury Management team offers that would benefit them the most. Tyler is currently in his last year at Western Illinois University, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.

Allison Skelton - Assistant Vice President, Digital Banking Solutions (QCRH)

With 15 years of banking experience, Allison’s area of expertise lies within Online Banking Operations for both retail and commercial clients. As Assistant VP, Digital Banking Solutions, Allison is the manager of both the Commercial & Personal Online Banking Operations teams. Allison adds values to our clients by providing knowledgeable assistance by troubleshooting issues with the digital services our banks supply to our clients. Allison received a History degree from St. Ambrose University.

Brittany Bellows - Vice President, Financial Reporting Manager (QCRH)

With 11 years of banking experience, Brittany’s area of expertise lies within accounting and finance. As VP Financial Reporting Manager, Brittany manages accounting software implementations and management, annual and quarterly filings of our SEC reporting, and other general accounting duties. Brittany adds value to our clients by focusing on process improvements to improve relationships with internal clients. She received a BA and Masters in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa, and volunteers for Junior League of the Quad Cities, Park View Owners’ Association, and the Scott County Regional Authority. She is also on the Board of Directors for the Junior League of the Quad Cities and the Park View Owners’ Association.

Jennifer Hatfield - Assistant Vice President, Digital Payment Solutions Manager (QCRH)

With 20 years of banking experience, Jennifer’s area of expertise lies within ACH; she has been working with the ACH payment channel since 2006. As AVP Digital Payments Solutions Manager, Jennifer oversees the Electronic Payment Specialists that work with our debit/ATM card programs and ACH. She adds value to our clients by providing support to the banks/departments with any ACH payment-related questions they may have. She also works with vendors, overseeing and assisting with implementation, testing of an upgrade to a current product, or new products related to our electronic payment systems. In 2015, Jennifer was awarded the AAP (Accredited ACH Professional) Certification from Nacha. Jennifer volunteers at Junior Achievement, Dare to be Different Marriage Ministry, and the Coram Deo Bible Church.

Kara Sturdevant - Senior Project Manager (QCRH)

Kara’s area of expertise lies within project management. As Senior Project Manager, Kara manages projects by developing project plans, specifying goals, strategies, and identifying risks with contingent plans. She also works with project sponsors, technical leads, and business partners to formulate and define scopes for projects. Kara adds value to our clients by working closely with the business to insure deliverables are met on time and meet or exceed expectations. Kara attended the University of Iowa and received a degree in Management Sciences. She volunteers at Reading Buddy Program, which is affiliated with Bettendorf schools.

Pamela Miller - Web/Software Developer (QCRH)

Working in her 3rd year in banking, Pamela’s area of expertise lies with being able to see the whole picture and to then determine how best to create a flow of information and to improve or result interruptions to that flow. As a Software Developer, Pamela’s work is involved with system integrations, where she’s responsible for the passing of information between the many internal systems and third party components our company, employees, and customers use every day. She adds value to our clients by providing the integrations we are a component in almost every system or service QCRH uses to provide better service for our clients. Pamela graduated from Black Hawk College with a degree in Computer Information Programming. Previously, she was a member of the Geneseo Chapter of BPW (Business and Professional Women’s Foundation) and was a longtime volunteer at Denkmann Elementary in Rock Island. More recently, she has worked with Junior Achievement at Hayes Elementary in Davenport.

Ryan Clausen - Lending Business Transformation Analyst, Officer (QCRH)

With 13 years of banking and finance experience, Ryan’s area of expertise lies within business process optimization. As a Lending Business Transformation Analyst, Officer, he drives optimization within our organization, performs business analytics, and is an Optimization Analyst for new strategic initiatives. Ryan adds value to our clients by providing insight into optimization projects that have a customer-center focus, and ensures that our projects allow for the bank staff to improve on their delivery of excellent customer service. Ryan attended the University of Iowa, Liberal Arts and Sciences and volunteers for the LeClaire Youth Soccer.
